Baikal Electronics took part in the V-th International Forum "Microelectronics 2019"

At this event, conceived as a dialogue between developers of electronic component base and manufacturers of finished products, company "Baikal electronics" presented its new processor Baikal-M, designed for a wide range of target devices of consumers and B2B segments.
The Russian Baikal-M processor is a 28-nm process system on a chip based on eight 64-bit ARM Cortex-A57 (ARMv8-A) cores with support for neon vector extensions and an eight-core Mali-T628 (MP8) GPU with hardware acceleration of H. 264/H. 265 video playback. The processor has a wide range of integrated communication interfaces and high processing power, so it can be used in workstations, mono-blocks, laptops, servers and thin clients.
